In the incident, Daw Moe Moe Thu (40), who sells fried food on Khra Su Road, Ward 3, Marangone Township, was at home at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, when her husband U Aye Thuyn (45 years old), who lives in the same neighborhood and works in Galining, was in a fight with Ko Kyi Khaing (41 years old), who works in the same neighborhood, at the top of Kyaikwain Pagoda Road, Ward 3, Marangone Township. An injection wound in the left chest. He was found lying dead with a steel blade of onion slicing broken from the base of the bone in his left kidney.
His wife, Daw Moe Moe Thu, filed a complaint to take legal action against U Aye Thuyn, who stabbed U Aye Thuyn to death with a knife. Investigation of the incident and surrounding conditions are underway, and the perpetrator, Ko Kyi Khaing, is being prosecuted under (Pa) 25/18 Penal Code Law 302 by Byon Naung Police Station.
