A military council convoy was mined on the Monywa-Chaung Oo road. More than 20 soldiers, including an officer, were killed when another soldier got out of the car

Sagaing Division A military convoy departing from Monywa to the south at around 6 pm on January 20 was attacked by a mine on Chaung-U PDF and Monywa IGF troops on the Monywa-Chaung-U road. More than 20 soldiers were killed in a landmine attack as soldiers disembarked from the military vehicle, firing heavy artillery shells into the area, according to the Chaung-U PDF.
The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police recruiting center, killing at least 20 people, including a military council official.
The second landmine attack calmed the gunfire. From Monywa side, 10 cars were brought to transport the dead and injured. According to local defense forces, the meat was washed on the road until 12 o’clock at night.
After that, civilian cars were used as human walls and two damaged military vehicles were towed by ropes. An innocent man was shot dead by the military council.
The Chaung-U PDF and Immortal Gurrilla Force IGF-Monywa have issued a warning to the public not to live or drive near the military junta and not to drive near military vehicles.Khit Thit Media
